You know, it makes you feel kind of special: my secret pal is the young and (very!) talented Ysolda Teague. She designed and made the beautiful Arisaig and she herself is the model. I have been roaming on her website for a long time. I think I will start to make the Cloud Bolero. But ‘du moment’ she starts to sell the pattern for the Briar Rose I’m going to buy it and, even worse, I’ll knit it with Noro. This is the first time I ever want to knit something with Noro. Ysolda sent me the book ‘One Skein’ with 3 little different skeins … Rowan Tapestry, Rowan Bamboo Soft and Lana Grossa Airwool. I’ll take book and skeins with me on my holiday to play. She also sent me a wonderful bar of Grapefruit & Shea Butter Massage Soap (carefully made in Scotland, where she lives) and a strawberry tape measure for centimetres and inches!

Hoi Yvonne, ik kijk ook maar even wat rond op jouw log. Heerlijk, lijkt me zo’n cadeau. Ik brei, naast truien, ook vaak kleine dingetjes, vooral sokken en knuffels. Ik ben benieuwd wat je met deze prachtige bollen gaat doen. Ik heb op de reacties van mijn log gereageerd op je vraag over patroontjes.
