One SkeinI have put my name down for this project…I love surprises, so why not guarantee myself a surprise or two? Tonight I got a bunch of questions and because I’ll be in London this weekend I make my answers officially public:

1. Which yarn is most like your personality (you can be specific or general with your answer- brand, type, color, fiber, whatever)? Expensive yarns… silk, cashmere, angora (but not to much), special and soft. Or not so expensive yarn, may be even unexpensive, but soft and in nice colours.
2. What is your favorite color yarn to knit/crochet with? Green, all kinds of green, spring green, riotous green, soft green, tender green, light green, goldgreen, etc. Or purple. Perhaps the right kind of blue, maybe orange. Because I always wear black.
3. Have you ever used variegated, or magic, yarns? Of course, why not…you can do fabulous things with it.
4. Do you tend to favor certain fibers when choosing yarns? No, as long as it is soft.
5. Do you prefer to work with center-pull or traditionally wound balls of yarn? Doesn’t matter.
6. Have you ever worked with organic yarns or are you interested in trying them? Mwah… not really.
7. How many and what projects have you made in the last year? Look in my weblog in the category ‘breien’ (knitting in Dutch). The text is in Dutch and not to understand, but pictures are universal.
8. Will you be knitting any gifts this year? I knit gifts almost exclusively.
9. What is your favorite one skein project? A babybeaner… it was so cute! And the dropstitch scarf.
10. How much yarn do you have in your stash and how do you store it? Too much yarn and it is stored in plastic boxes. In my new house I plan a beter place in which I can see what I have.
11. Do you have a yarn in your stash that you love so much you can never use it or part with it? I have some silky cotton in off white with small coloured specks that is very special. Don’t know why. It is difficult to decide what to knit of it.
12. Do you knit less or differently in the summer? More cotton, cool yarns, less woolly things.
13. Do you belong to any knitting groups (online or offline)? Yes, SnB Amsterdam http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SnB_Amsterdam/

Of course, I keep you informed. And from now on I’ll try to translate my posts. The knitting ones at least. Maybe more. We’ll see.

Leuk? Deel dit dan:
