Emerald city van Lisa SouzaImagine, you come home death tired. You can think but one thing: knit some rows and go to sleep. And then you find a big, big box on the small table in the hall. From my secret pal? Yes. That fast? Yes. It’s spoiling pal and not secret pal. In very soft and fine paper in beautiful blue or with drawings of (Victorian) garden tools I found such fine presents. A fine red Chinese étui, a delicious smelling hand crafted soap and a very, very nice booklet with Californian native flowers and (!) squared paper. I love squared paper. And now for the knitting part of the box! My spoiling pal gave me wonderful rosewood sock needles made from the leftovers of the musical instruments production and, and, and… lustrous and ravishing emerald Sock! Merino from Lisa Souza. The colours remind me of the emerald costumes from the Balanchine ballet. Dear spoiling pal, thank you, thank you very much! I have forgotten my tiredness.
