We were men, women and children. We had a barbecue thanks to the nice women who organised. The sun was shining, the grass was green and soft, the food was plentiful. And I acquired something useful. I asked those who knit the &#8216;German&#8217; way, how they purled and picked the one way that suits me most when knitting for example 1 k and 1 p: the <a title=\"Norwegian Purl on YouTube\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XBWX3hJorjM\" target=\"_blank\">Norwegian purl <\/a>(and it&#8217;s getting better by now).
