Days with a splitting headache, aching muscles and feeling a bit feverish made me slow down. I did not knit much, I did not read much, I did not much &#8230; I merely existed as a person with the flu. Pity, &#8216;cause I could have done better with my homework for my course <a title=\"Better Knitting in action\" href=\"http:\/\/www.meijsen.net\/lifenknitting\/2009\/01\/24\/het-betere-breiwerk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Better Knitting<\/a> with the <a title=\"The Dutch Knitters\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thedutchknitters.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dutch Knitters<\/a>. Instead I barely did one piece. Still a few to go this week. It&#8217;s wonderful, by the way, to finally have time to linger about the technique of knitting.<\/p>\n<p>I finished my <a title=\"Breezy butterfly sock on Ravelry\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/projects\/yvonnep\/luchtige-vlindersok\" target=\"_blank\">Breezy Butterfly Sock<\/a> (Ravelry link) and started <a title=\"Salida on Ravelry\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/projects\/yvonnep\/salida\" target=\"_blank\">Salida<\/a> (Ravelry link), the KAL sock from the <a title=\"Yahoo Sokkenbreigroep\" href=\"http:\/\/groups.yahoo.com\/group\/sokken_breien\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yahoo Sokken_breiengroep<\/a>. So if you are not on Ravelry (why not? it&#8217;s free, useful and quite nice), you can join this Yahoo group and get the pattern yourself. It is made by <a title=\"Janneke's website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.helyg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">her <\/a>and it is a beautiful, challenging and rewarding pattern. What more do you want?<\/p>\n<p>In about three weeks we all go to the Handwerkbeurs (Crafting Fair) in Zwolle. Yes! And this week I&#8217;ll have some great &#8216;Fair News&#8217; for sockknitters.
