\"Pink<\/a>Tell you, moving is a hell of a job, so this will be in one language only. That’s efficiency. The living room has a wall of boxes now and most of my knitting things has disappeared in boxes. When will we meet again…? :-). In the meantime, I finished the Pink Ribbon Socks for Gerda, one of my (former) team members. Socks to spend an evening on the couch with, with a book and a glass of wine. I so hope she will be a survivor. We’ll say goodbye this Thursday, Gerda has worked long enough.<\/p>\n

\"Jacobean\"<\/a>One pair finished, time to start the other. I subscribed to the Sock Knitters Pentathlon<\/a> – during this Olympic year we will knit 5 pair of socks in different techniques. This little Gansey sock is the first. I knit it with Marion’s Sockyarn<\/a>, a gift from Guinifer<\/a>. On needles US 1 \/2.25 mm they will be far too small for me<\/strike>\u00a0are an amazingly\u00a0perfect fit, but<\/strike> and it is a beautiful pattern that needs some concentration. Not difficult, no, but you just have to knit with attention.<\/span>\"Simply<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

I also wanted to have a kind of no brainer. Anni’s March Sock<\/a> was perfect. Simply Cables. And that’s it. You can knit it waiting for the telephone man, the curtain man, the was machine man. Sitting on the floor of New House<\/a>, feeling the sun in my back, knitting the time away. Yarn is Trekking Ombre in colour number 100. It’s a bit autumny, but that is because I have these cold feet all the time nowadays and these colours are warm.<\/span> <\/span>The title is an intended pun to the new program of the Dutch National Ballet: On the Move<\/a>. \u00a0I am going to enjoy it this Tuesday!<\/strike> Life has some tricks and I have an\u00a0awfully cold, with fever and coughing, etc. So that was no ballet and yes bed.<\/span>Well, if you don’t mind. I go back to my boxes. This will be my last post before the big day. We’ll move on Good Friday, first day of Spring. Double luck. See you then!<\/p>\n
