Het komt uit het tijdschrift <a title=\"Artlink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.craftculture.org\/handmade.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Artlink<\/a>, dat in dit nummer onder de naam <em>Handmade, the new labour movement<\/em> aandacht besteed aan, tja, hoe zal ik het eens vertalen, de handvaardigheid in de kunst.<br \/>\nWaarom werd het breien net nu weer populair? Is dat verklaarbaar? Zijn er breiprojecten die als kunst kunnen worden gezien? Verandert het misschien het proces van kunst tot stand brengen? Wat betekent het als het maken van iets net zo belangrijk is als het &#8216;iets&#8217; zelf? Is dit proces dan ook in kunst?<br \/>\nDe conclusie van de schrijfster is &#8216;Viva La K1P1 Revolution!&#8217; Bemoedigend!<\/p>\n<p>In <a title=\"Whip Up\" href=\"http:\/\/whipup.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">WhipUp<\/a> I found an\u00a0interesting article on knitting: <a title=\"The Knitting Train\" href=\"http:\/\/www.craftculture.org\/archive\/cameron1.htm\" target=\"_blank\">The Knitting Train<\/a>, by Brigette Cameron. It&#8217;s from <a title=\"Artlink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.craftculture.org\/handmade.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Artlink<\/a>, that in this issue <em>Handmade, the new labour movement<\/em> writes about craft in the arts.<br \/>\nWhy did knitting got popular again now? Is that explainable? Does the technique of knitting and its execution in traditional mediums such as wool alone stand up to scrutiny in a fine art context? What does it mean if the making of is as important as the product?
