This makes me happy as a child: someone in the European council managed the makers of mobile phones. In the near future there will be one system for charging. On the day all the chargers for all my mobile devices will be reduced to one I’m afraid I will go crazy.
Happiness is…
Lovely day in the park
We were many. We were men, women and children. We had a barbecue thanks to the nice women who organised. The sun was shining, the grass was green and soft, the food was plentiful. And I acquired something useful. I asked those who knit the ‘German’ way, how they purled and picked the one way that suits me most when knitting for example 1 k and 1 p: the Norwegian purl (and it’s getting better by now). Thanks Malia! So I had a lovely and helpful time on yesterday’s KIP day.
Raha Diva
Look at me! Raha Diva… It was so much fun to knit the Raha Scarf (Ravelry link) and it feels lovely around my neck. I knitted it from mere silk. It’s a pattern from Nancy Bush’s book Knitting Lace of Estonia. I have put it away carefully to wear it later, in the autumn, when it’s not yet very cold, but a bit chilly. For now: let the fine weather continue!
